2. Hosting

This website is hosted by Lovable (Lovable Labs Sweden AB, Regeringsgatan 25, 111 53 Stockholm, Sweden). When you visit, the host processes technically necessary access data, in particular your IP address, date and time, the page requested, your browser and operating system, in order to deliver the site and keep it secure. Lovable uses service providers for this, including in third countries such as the USA, among them Cloudflare; such transfers rely on the EU standard contractual clauses. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a secure, working website).

3. Cookies, browser storage and visit statistics

To protect against bots, Cloudflare sets a technically necessary cookie (__cf_bm) that expires after about 30 minutes. Your language choice (German or English) is kept in your browser's local storage and does not leave your device. Both are strictly necessary for the functions you use (§ 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG).

In addition, Lovable records aggregate visit statistics for this site (pages viewed, approximate location, device type, referring site); for this, a Lovable script stores a session identifier in your browser's storage. I only see the aggregate numbers, never individual people. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in knowing whether the site is read).

4. Podcast player (Google Drive)

The audio summaries are stored on Google Drive. The player loads only when you click "Load player (Google Drive)". Only then is data such as your IP address and device information sent to Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland); Google may set cookies and may also transfer data to the USA (Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework). The legal basis is your consent by that click (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) TDDDG). You can withdraw it at any time for the future by not starting the player again; cookies already set can be deleted in your browser.

5. Links

The links to LinkedIn, Xing and GitHub are plain links. Data is only transferred when you click one; the provider's own privacy policy then applies.

6. Fonts

The fonts are served by this website itself; there is no connection to external font services.

7. Your rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). You can withdraw consent at any time (Art. 7(3)). You can lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77).

8. Storage period

The host keeps access data only as long as needed for secure operation. I myself store no data about visitors.
